Cathay Pacific has announced it will expand its network in North America with the addition of non-stop flights to Dallas, Texas.

The Hong Kong-based carrier announced it will launch the new route – connecting Hong Kong and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport – with four weekly flights (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) from April 24, 2025.

According to Cathay Pacific, it will use its Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on the new route.

“Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports,” said Lavinia Lau, Cathay Group Chief Customer and Commercial Officer. “With our Cathay Pacific codeshares as well as other flight options, customers can connect to over 190 domestic destinations in the United States, as well as 11 destinations in Central and South America via DFW, further enhancing Hong Kong’s connectivity with North America and important Belt and Road Initiative participating countries.”

Dallas will be Cathay Pacific's sixth destination in the US, and the eight in North America. The airline operates a total of 88 weekly flights to/from North America, with plans to increase it to 108 by May 2025.

The new passenger flights to Dallas will complement Cathay Cargo's existing freighter services to the city via Anchorage.
